20 December - Best wishes from a friend
Dearest Alison
You have been very much on my mind over the last few days so I am delighted to hear your truly encouraging news.

I am convinced that champagne is slimming - it is just that we are not drinking enough of it!!  I plan to put this particular theory to the test over the next fortnight and will provide statistical results in the New Year for your consideration.....

My lovely long relaxing break is evaporating before my eyes - with requests for proposals dropping like flies on my desk.  And work stacked up to start from the 5th January.  So deep breath and upwards and onwards.... I must have been JOLLY bad in a past life to be paying such a heavy penalty this time round, I reckon!

Anyway Christmas will be delightful and I am really looking forward to the days with loved ones.  I hope yours is wonderful and sparkly.  Look forward to seeing you in the New Year
Big Chrissy hugs Trace
